Candace Cameron Bure opens up about her new book!

Former Full House star, Candace Cameron Bure can be added to our favorite celebrity mommy author’s!  I’m anxious to see her new book after meeting her briefly at TJ Maxx’s Teen Choice awards swag suite this past summer. Truly, she was stunning and beautiful in person – but in a very very very natural way.  She could not have been more down to earth crafting it up with her daughter to decorate the Save the Children bags that were to be used for a charity auction. I just adore meeting her so I can’t wait to see her share more of her story.

In January of 2011 she will release her forthcoming book entitled, Reshaping It All. For the first time Candace’s book will chronicle Candace’s lifelong struggle with food and the physical and spiritual changes that she underwent to make the public transformation from the chubby DJ Tanner to one of the hottest moms in Hollywood. In Reshaping It All Candace will also discuss the following:

-Her never-before-discussed battle with food addiction, and the effect that it had on her childhood acting career as well as her life as a wife and mother.

-The power of spiritual health in making it possible to achieve physical health.

-Tips to help overcome the temptations of overeating and living a sedentary lifestyle.

-Her belief that observing moderation and portion control are more effective than denying oneself unhealthy foods completely.

-Practical advice for choosing healthier food options and becoming motivated to be more active.

-Guidance for maintaining a lifelong healthy outlook and avoiding the pitfalls of yo-yo dieting.

Each chapter in the book is designed to stand alone as an easy-to-use reference for working toward a healthy physical and spiritual life. The chapter begins with a discussion of a different topic related to weight loss or healthy living, supplemented by anecdotes from Candace’s own experience. The chapter ends with appendices including a summary of points to ponder, a reply to a fan’s letter to Candace, a relevant motivational quote and a healthy recipe from Candace’s kitchen.
