Kenzie and Kyle have caught the fishing bug from their Poppy. These kids are natural born anglers. We had a beautiful day at my parent’s lake fishing for hours. 5 year old Kyle mastered casting and patiently fished for 2 hours hoping to catch his very 1st fish.
The fish didn’t seem to be biting or as active as usual but the kids persistance paid off big time. Kyle reeled in and caught his first fish EVER today. He was ecstatic and we were all so happy for him cheering him on – and helping him bring this giant large mouth bass to shore.
See how the rod was bending? He needed a lot of help and we used this big net to bring him to shore. We took this super quick photo opp before returning our bass back to the water as we’re all about the catch and release.
