The beauty of blogging is our ability to sometimes make a real difference in the world with the information we share. As a mother, this stats break my heart.

• Nearly 17 million children in the United States don’t get enough food to live active, healthful lives.

• 1 in 4 kids don’t know where their next meal is coming from.

ConAgra Foods wants our help to end Child Hunger in America and they’ve stepped up to the plate big time. Whenever you purchase a participating Con Agra Foods Brand item, ConAgra will donate one meal to Feeding America – up to 2.5 million meals this year.

ConAgra Foods is encouraging everyone to rally their neighbors for the cause, literally – and host a Child Hunger Ends Here Neighborhood Rally this spring between March and May to raise money for Feeding America, which provides food to 37 million people every year.  Don’t get overwhelmed by the thought of hosting a rally – keep it simple. Get the kids involved and make an effort to donate funds to Feeding America. It can be as simple as donating all or a portion of the proceeds you earn from the following:

• Lemonade Stand
• Garage Sale
• Bake Sale at School or Church
• Host a Movie Night and serve Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn
• Grocery shop the above ConAgra Foods Brands
