If you are craving a Disney fix and love Dole Whip, definitely whip up a batch of Hawaiian delight this copycat dole whip recipe. It’s SOOOO good and refreshing!
Super yummy and it’s totally easy to whip up this copycat Dole Whip recipe. This is essentially Disney’s original recipe! We were able to create our own at home version that was totally easy to make in just a few minutes and tastes divine.
Copycat Dole Whip Recipe
This recipe is basically Disney’s recipe. Our 1 minor alteration was to add an extra scoop of ice cream so we could get the soft serve texture everyone loves about Dole Whip.
The below ingredient portions made a total of 4 generous servings.
- 5 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 can of 100 % Pure Dole Pineapple Juice (6 oz can)
- 1 can pineapple chunks or tidbits – FROZEN
Freeze your can of pineapple and juice in a ziploc bag or container for a few hours. This will help insure your Dole Whip is super cold and more solid, yet full of that sweet pineapple taste.
Next add everything into a blender and blend away!
Add all ingredients into the blender. We used 5 scoops of ice cream to help make our mixture more “ice cream” like vs. slushie. I think depending on how big of a “scoop” you use, you can judge just how much ice cream to add after you blend.
Top with Whip Cream & enjoy!
Host a Disney Hawaii Night with Dole Whips
We created a Disney Hawaii night last week to add a little excitement to our quarantine. We all dressed in our tropical threads, added leis, ate Pizza topped with Pineapple for dinner, and for dessert we celebrated with Dole Whips.
We love Disney and we loved our family vacation to Hawaii so it was fun to reflect and remember our past adventures! We watched lots of our own videos at both Disney Parks and from our trip to the Big Island of Hawaii.
Other fun ideas for a Dole Whip night include watching Moana, Lilo & Stitch and topping off your evening with Disney Parks Fireworks show that they’ve been streaming and sharing online for everyone to enjoy at home.
Do you love copycat recipes? Now that we have been cooking at home so much we are trying to make lots of copycat recipes – both from Disney and Chick-Fil-A.
