We’ve got a giveaway for FANDANGO gift codes so you can go see the movie for FREE too! Entry details are below. My kids and I saw an advanced screening and thought this second installment in the Fantastic Beasts series was even better than the first movie. Beyond just an incredible storyline that further developed the back story to everything Harry Potter, this movie includes all kinds of Baby Nifflers and Jude Law as a Young Dumbledore. Need I say more? The nifflers are beyond cute and hilarious and Jude Law is fantastic. The entire “canon” of what we know to be Harry Potter develops in unexpected ways leaving the audience with an absolute OMG moment at the end of the film. I don’t want to spoil it, but I assure you the movie was non stop action while perfectly further developing all the Fantastic Beasts characters along with introducing a few new key characters that are sure to play bigger roles in the ongoing Fantastic Beasts series.

MORE ABOUT FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD

Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is the second of five all new adventures in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World™.

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne).  But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.  Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

The film features an ensemble cast led by Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp.  The cast also includes, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and  Poppy Corby-Tuech.

  78. I just saw on the marquee that this is playing at our local theater. I didn’t even know until then that there was a new one out. I am very excited to take the kids to go see it. We loved the first one.
