I’m crazy for Dr. Seuss and so are my kids! It’s that time of year in our schools too where we celebrate Dr. Seuss and after visiting Universal Orlando last week and seeing our favorite Seuss stories brought to life after hanging out in Seuss Land there, and now talking Seuss every day in school, we are ALL over Dr. Seuss!
Happy to share that if you like Dr. Seuss like we do, you can now stock up on Dr. Seuss books for $5 or less now at Walmart. Awesome value.
Here are Kenzie and Kyle actually hanging out in Horton’s Nest in Seuss Land at Universal Orlando. So cool!
Dr. Seuss books have been pivotal in my children’s approach to learn how to read and develop reading fluency. The fun rhymes, silly stories, and tons of sight words in Dr. Seuss books really enabled my kids to connect to their reading skills to these books which in turn gave them tons of confidence to motivate their reading.
When my daughter was in Kindergarten and I saw how much Dr. Seuss books were helping her learn to read, I stocked up on a mini library of Seuss books!
I love how the schools really celebrate Dr. Seuss all week long every year the last week of February.
Here’s Kyle today sporing a Dr. Seuss paper hat her made!
Last year, I got to go into Kenzie’s 1st grade class and read her favorite Dr. Seuss book, “Oh the Places, You’ll Go.”
