Happy 4th of July! Kenzie & Kyle are excited for the holiday. The kids are styling in their new 4th of July treads sent courtesy of one of my favorite places to shop for the kids – Children’s Place. I love the trendy clothes that are also easy on the wallet.
We’ll kick the day off commemorating the 4th of July at Valley Forge National Park. Kenzie has become obsessed with the olden days, stories of the American Revolution, and learning all about the history of the area. So instead of just running on the trail, we’ll turn into tourists for the morning to let her see the musuem, chat with the soldiers, and tour George Washington’s headquarters.
We’re looking forward to a fun filled morning of colonial lessons, face painting at the local YMCA pool this afternoon and an evening full of hot dogs, s’mores, and sparklers in our backyard tonight.
