Happy 4th of July

Kenzie is channeling her inner Patriot during our visit to Valley Forge Park to celebrate the festivities. She wanted me to be sure to tell everyone we met that she is a Daughter of the American Revolution and about her relative Hezekiah. Very cute.

The kids had a blast and as usual the log cabins were a hit.

Free face painting, games for the kids, free freeze pops and hot dogs topped off with free patriotic cupcakes made everyone very happy.

Kenzie was also very impressed with the re-enactments and enjoyed playing with the colonial toys and chatting with the “pretend” colonial folks.

As expected, Kyle was on the go exploring every nook possible and running around from cabin to cabin. Thus, as usual, I was unable to capture many photos of him for all those wondering why Kenzie is often the primary star as I recount our adventures in my posts.
