Amazing day at 2013 Holiday Mom Mixer with @VaselineBrand. Over 200 attendees and 7 brands made for a very exciting day!
An incredible day that never would have been possible without the support of my partner Whitney and both of our families. Putting on an event like this is 100% a team effort and requires a zillion various details and the help and support of our closest friends – and our guests and sponsors who bring the day to life. We can’t thank everyone enough for making today such a wonderful success.
We’ll post our recap videos soon but here’s the skinny on today’s exciting moments. We’re all on a high after having such fabulous turnout and action packed day – after months of hard work and dreaming with my partner Whitney, @WhitneyMWS from Mommies with Style, there is no better feeling than to see all our guests and our own families enjoying themselves.
Lots of social media fun, great real life conversations, and incredible interactive experiences with each of the brands attending. Vaseline, our Title sponsor, set up mini makeovers for Moms to test our their BRAND NEW – as in just launched yesterday – Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips product and they had a fun photo booth to show off their Spray & Go Moisturizer.
Even Kenzie got her lips made over! And check out Vaseline’s bejeweled rosy lips too (priced at $45 and sold at Kitson.com!)
Elmo showed up with Hasbro which was an enormous hit with all our littlest guest and our Moms. Everyone adores Elmo! Hasbro also set up an entire play area for kids in a Sesame themed playroom and they had super cute play centers for kids with tables & chairs, the new Rescue Bots Beam Box video game, the new Monopoly Empire, Princess Play Doh, and their Furby Booms.
CVS was our food and beverage sponsor and they brought the most delicious treats from their Gold Emblem product line which offers everything from salty snack like super yummy popcorn and trail mix to cereal bars and brownie style deluxe cookies that are beyond divine!
Tommee Tippee showed off their new 360 sealer diaper disposal system which keeps the stink away and gave Moms a chance to create their very own Fragrance at a perfume bar they set up. So cool!
Children’s Advil offered up Mini Massages to give Moms a chance to relax. And since having sick kids can be so stressful they stocked our guests upwithcrafts and coloring books to keep their little ones entertained on those days they are under weather.
Robitussin schooled Moms on cold and flu season while sharing some Coughequences that might just happen this winter if you get sick…. Moms could spin their giant wheel.
Just Play Products came with their hit sensation line of Doc Mc Stuffins toys and their Minnie Mouse Bowtique line. Both the little girls and the little boys loved interacting with the doctor sets and Minnie’s tea party gear.
More fun photos from the day!
The kids all loved the new Monopoloy EMPIRE game. I’m anxious to play this at home with the kids now!
And everyone loved peeking out for Photo opps in the Sesame Playroom. Playskool and Sesame Place were even giving away SEASON PASSES to Sesame Place to one of our lucky guests!
And as always the Hyatt Bellevue Venue was beyond beautiful. The XIX restaurant and it’s hanging pearls are gorgeous!
What a day! Love it! I’m working on a recap now too! Feeling very day after the wedding today – a little relief and a little disappointment it’s all over! Thanks for being an amazing business partner and can’t wait for the next one! 😉
What a great event. Thanks for all your hard work. I’ve hosted some events and I know they are serious work, but incredibly rewarding! Thanks for the invite and I’m so happy I inspired the pearl photo..,.as soon as I walked in, I thought this room is spot on for both Whitney & Colleen’s blogs….classy just like you two Moms! Thanks again!
Chrissy
You ought to take part in a contest for one of the greatest sites online.
I most certainly will recommend this blog!
You actually make it seem really easy together with your presentation but I in finding this matter to be actually something that I think I’d by no
means understand. It seems too complex and very large for me.
I am having a look ahead in your subsequent submit, I’ll attempt to get the grasp
of it!
I used to be suggested this blog via my cousin.
I’m not positive whether this publish is written through him
as no one else understand such spcial appropximately my problem.
You’re incredible! Thanks!
