The Fashion District is 3 blocks of fun for the entire family and is in what used to be the Galleria venue, as this is PREIT’s revamp of the Gallery mall.
More About The Fashion District
The District spans a monumental three city blocks, it features over 800,000 square feet of flagship, traditional, and outlet shopping, as well as destination dining, entertainment, and art and cultural exhibits. Fashion District is centrally located in downtown Philadelphia, conveniently connected to Reading Terminal Market, the Philadelphia Convention Center, and three transit hubs, with several of the city’s best hotels and attractions just a short walk away.

Candytopia at the Fashion District
My kids and I are definitely planning a visit to Candytopia when we pop by the Fashion District. This limited engagement instagram worthy venue is in Philly at The District until January 5th.
Candytopia is described as a, “sprawling sanctuary of confectionary bliss, with over a dozen carefully curated and crafted rooms and environments. Be showered in confetti by candy-coated unicorn pigs, or swim in a pool of 300,000 marshmallows! Discover the sweets of Candytopia with 9 samples of candy items throughout the experience including chocolate truffles and bags of gummi bears.”
Yep… Candytopia has our number and we can’t wait to explore this wonderland of sweets!

I’m glad to see some shopping areas like this opening. In the DFW area so many have closed down. I’m lucky to live very close to Firewheel Mall in Garland, though.
