The perfect catch! Total joy in our house after the kids caught this super unique and HUGE crayfish in our creek last night. Check out his new digs in a fish tank on our kitchen counter – complete with some river rock, tree branches and blue aquarium pebbles. This bugger is GIGANTIC. He is honestly as big as my hand and is one serious freshwater crustacean!
The kids are crazy obsessed with their new little critter named, ” Cray Cray”. We’ll be feeding him lettuce and perhaps shrimp pellets per the recommendations of raising a Crayfish as a pet…… I’m wanting to catch and release this fellow in the next few days but the kids have other plans so we’ll see what happens.
