The little guy really is a heartbreaker. At least Jennifer Garner and I think so. I love these pics of him chatting away with my fave movie star.
The kids were captivated and totally driven by their task of packing 900 snack boxes for Save the Children to benefit kids in Kentucky. Kenzie & Kyle would have gladly packed 1800 boxes if they had let us! (And generally the kids were oblivious to Jennifer Garner’s star power as expected with a 2 yr old and 4 yr old! She was as lovely and genuine as could be – just like you would imagine her to be!) Be sure to jump on over to Frigidaire to help Jennifer Garner “set the kids table” in a charity campaign – every time you play Frigidaire donates $1 to Save the Children. Isn’t that phenomenal?
Here we are packing away! Truly, getting kids to participate in a service activity is the best way to teach them about giving back. Plus, what kid doesn’t love to feel important and help out when you really ask for their efforts? I’m so grateful to Frigidaire for offering to include us in this service project. The kids were so unbelievably into it. And of course I loved seeing Jennifer Garner and chatting with Mark Shriver from Save the Children – talk about an interesting guy from an incredible family. Truly, leaders in giving back.
Some great family photos – although it is generally impossible to capture Kyle’s smile on film!
