At age 4, Mackenzie has really been enjoying reading "Chapter" books as an activity before nap or bedtime. We first started out with the Magic Tree House books last summer and she instantly fell in love with them. I enjoy the break from picture books and she is fascinated with the learning involved in each of these magical adventures through time. As we prep for Thanksgiving, we just read "Thanksgiving on Thursday" and traveled in our imaginations with Jack & Annie to Plymouth to celebrate the very 1st Thanksgiving with Squanto and the Pilgrims. She loved it! I also bought the Non Fiction Magic Tree House Companion Guide so we could really delve into the historical information. We loved that as well.
