Brilliant! Have you heard about the Mermaid Academy at Hawks Cay Resort? My daughter Kenzie, who just turned 9, has been OBSESSED with Mermaids and Dolphins for the past year. Looks like this is something we need to add to her bucket list! Our little swimmer Kenzie wears a swim suit that looks like a mermaid and she even writes stories about mermaids too so I can only imagine how much my fly girl would love to sign up for an official class teaching her how to swim just like a mermaid – with fins and all!
Mermaid Academy at Hawks Cay Resort
Kids have been able to see what it’s like to “swim like a mermaid” at Hawks Cay Resort’s Mermaid Academy. This was a special program exclusively available over Thanksgiving weekend & during the holiday break at Christmas and New Year’s. Hawks Cay Resort’s Mermaid Academy brings the mystical and magical creatures to life with new, affordable and comfortable mermaid tails and swimming lessons. The classes include the tail rental (or a shark fin for boys) and an hour-long mermaid swim lesson in one of the resort’s five swimming pools. A one-hour session with the mermaid tail is $25 and $15 with the shark fin.
