Mo Willems’ fans will be thrilled with his brand new book, releasing on October 25th, “Nanette’s Baguette”. My kids and I loved this story and found he adorable little frog like critter Nanette to be SO cute. I think the book is full of fantastic illustrations, rhymes, and conversation bubbles that appeal to early readers and Mo Willems fan base. Yay!

Personally, I love that the rhymes are more unusual words but still easy for your beginner readers and younger audience getting ready to learn to read. Even though it’s easy to rhyme in the “-et” family, readers are exposed to all kinds of more unusual words like clarinet and those that end in the “ette” family – with fancy names like Suzette or Georgette. Fun!
