Looks like a fairy tale wedding for this celebrity mom. Reality TV Star, Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte member, Joel Madden tied the knot at Lionel Richie’s home this past Saturday (December 11, 2010). I’ve had my eye on wedding details all weekend and People Magazine had them first! Apparently, ever since she was a little girl, there were two things Nicole Richie wanted on her wedding day: a show-stopper dress inspired by Grace Kelly’s iconic wedding gown, and a real live elephant for good luck. You guessed it, both of these wishes came true! Richie even had not one, not two, but THREE stunning Marchesa dresses, including one featuring a ball-gown skirt crafted from more than 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals (in the above picture)
The couple’s two children were very much a part of the wedding. Harlow, 2, was the flower girl, while 15-month-old Sparrow was the ring-bearer . How sweet
“It was magical,” Richie, 29, tells PEOPLE. Adds Madden, 31: “It was the best night of my life.”
