We are beyond excited about today’s sneak peek reveal of the new American Girl of the Year 2015, Grace Thomas. Check out our official Grace Thomas American Girl of the Year 2015 Photos and Images below and you’ll see lots more about this adventurous girl who loves to travel and bake. My daughter Kenzie, age 9, can not wait to read her new book and buy it at the store when it releases tomorrow on January 1st.
I’m loving the angle that Grace visits Paris and then is inspired to start her own baking business when she arrives back home to the USA. Looks like this will be a fantastic opportunity to inspire our own girls to strive to travel, experience new places and cultures, and to be entrepreneurs. Kenzie is also 9 years old just like Grace so she is just at the perfect age to appreciate and adore American Girl Dolls and their inspiring books.

Images of Special American Girl Grace Thomas Accessories on Sale
How much do you LOVE that Grace Thomas is all about baking? I can’t think any accessories my daughter and her friends love to buy and play with more than “pretend” food for their dolls. So cute!
We’re even talking about a “Premium French Bakery set” that includes 60 pieces as shown below. I think I want one for myself to create doll set ups with although the $500 price tag is definitely steep compared to all the other “big ticket” American Girl accessories.
Grace’s Pastry Cart sells for $150 and her bistro set for only $85 so these are more affordable for sure.
Grace’s Baking set sells for $68.
Official Synopsis of the 2015 American Girl of the Year Books
The 2015 Girl of the Year books—Grace, Grace Stirs It Up, and Grace Makes It Great—written by Mary Casanova, introduce girls to an inventive, enthusiastic nine-year-old girl who is full of big ideas. A planner at heart, Grace finds the courage to step outside her comfort zone during a trip to Paris that broadens her perspective and challenges her to try new things. Back home, Grace uses her newfound courage and culinary skills to start her own French baking business with her two best friends. Learning to combine their talents, Grace and her friends mix together some great ideas that, ultimately, lead to many sweet rewards. To bring Grace’s story to life, a full-length movie will debut on DVD from Universal Studios Home Entertainment in summer 2015.
American Girl’s Inspires Charity Efforts to Support No Kid Hungry®
Love this!!!!!! With 1 in 5 American children suffering from Hunger, American Girl is inspiring girls to bake just like Grace and host their own bake sales to raise funds which they can then donate to No Kid Hungry.
American Girl created For Goodness, Bake!, a year-long fund-raising initiative in support of No Kid Hungry®, the campaign to end childhood hunger in America from Share Our Strength®. Starting January 1, American Girl is encouraging girls to host charity bake sales in their local communities and donate proceeds to No Kid Hungry. Because 1 in 5 children struggles with hunger in the United States, American Girl is helping ensure all children get the healthy food they need every day. For every $1 a girl raises, No Kid Hungry can connect a child with ten additional meals.
To kick off this program, American Girl has donated $50,000 to No Kid Hungry. Visit http://americangirl.com/girloftheyear to learn more about the initiative, to register for the Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry, and be entered into the For Goodness, Bake! sweepstakes for the chance to win one of 41 Grace prize packages.
