ONWARD was absolutely FABULOUS as we highly recommend this films for ALL ages as it’s a family film everyone will absolutely enjoy. It’s got action, adventure, comedy and of course is touching and beautiful like all Pixar films. We were lucky enough to catch an advanced showing on the big screen in theaters before the current drama.

I’m so happy Disney is releasing this movie to the world digitally during this current quarantine and crisis. Honestly, this will bring so many families and children joy during what is a really challenging and scary time for all of us.

We hope that Disney will consider making MULAN and BLACK WIDOW digital releases since it sounds like Americans will need to avoid any large gatherings for the next 8+ weeks.

Just yesterday my kids and I made a calendar of movies and shows we are looking forward to watching in the coming weeks. Kind of random but with all of our regular LIFE events cancelled, I was encouraging the kids to make a calender of fun family games and activities we could all look forward to doing together.

I’m so thrilled ONWARD releases TODAY on Digital and April 3 on DisneyPlus as we were hoping Disney would release movies sooner digitally!

ONWARD Synopsis

In “Onward,” teenage elf brothers Ian and Barley Lightfoot (voices of Tom Holland and Chris Pratt) get an unexpected opportunity to spend one more day with their late dad, embarking on an extraordinary quest aboard Barley’s epic van Guinevere. Like any good quest, their journey is filled with magic spells, cryptic maps, impossible obstacles and unimaginable discoveries. But when the boys’ fearless mom Laurel (voice of Julia Louis-Dreyfus) realizes her sons are missing, she teams up with a part-lion, part-bat, part-scorpion, former warrior – aka The Manticore (voice of Octavia Spencer) – and heads off to find them. Perilous curses aside, this one magical day could mean more than any of them ever dreamed.
