May is National Bike Month and we are all about the bikes in our house this spring. With a 3 and 5 year old, bike riding is hot, plus we own a bike trailer for the kids and love long bike rides as a family where we tote the kidlets for our adventures. The kids are getting bigger now though and Kenzie just stepped up to this fabulous 16 inch bike from Schwinn. It is an enormous step up from the junky cheapo Disney themed 12 inch bike I bought her from Walmart 2 years ago. This Schwinn comes with training wheels, has streamers, sturdy wheels and tires, and both a pedal brake along with hand brakes so this is great for kids learning to really ride a bike. Kenzie is beyond excited about her new bike and truly I am just as excited too as I think practicing on this quality bike for a few weeks will really prep her to “lose” the training wheels. Here’s a video of K with her new bike. Isn’t it gorgeous?
