Caribbean Luxury: Seven Stars Resort Turks and Caicos Review @7StarsResort

It’s zero degrees in Philadelphia today and I’m dreaming of the 17 hours we spent at the Seven Stars Resort in Turks & Caicos last fall. The stunning Seven Stars Resort in Turks and Caicos is a fantastic option for families or couples looking for a taste of Caribbean paradise in a more luxurious and quiet setting as compared to the larger family fun resorts in the Caribbean. This is a luxury All-Suite hotel and we absolutely LOVED our brief stay at Seven Stars, as we compare it to a Four Seasons style luxury experience. Impeccable offerings, incredible food, and top notch service everywhere from poolside to restaurants. We stumbled upon our less than 24 hour stay at Seven Stars when our airplane had major mechanical issues and was ultimately unable to take off to fly home.  We fell in love and now are dying to return again for a multiple day stay so we can savor all the resorts amenities.

Sitting right on the beach, many rooms has sweeping views of Grace Bay as does the gorgeous pool and oceanside restaurant.

We stumbled upon our less than 24 hour stay at Seven Stars when our airplane had major mechanical issues and was ultimately unable to take off to fly home. US Airways put us up in a disgusting dive (yes we’re talking cockroaches & signs that said the water was undrinkable!) and I immediately called Seven Stars and asked if they had any availability for the  night. Luckily, they did have a room for us which I immediately booked. The staff at Seven Stars was so awesome they even arranged a ride for us since we had no car! Seven Stars sent a  knight in shining armor (or make that a white Lincoln Navigator) to come pick my family up and whisk away to luxury!

The food at Seven Stars was top notch for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Absolutely incredible. Even better, the gourmet breakfast buffet was included with our room rate and they even had tons of gluten free options for 6 year old Kyle.

The pool and ocean views were a hit for the entire family the next morning before our flight home. We savored EVERY second. We only wish we had more than 1/2 a day to enjoy it all …. Yes, we would have adored the resort-owned catamaran offering daily excursions and complimentary water sports such as kayaking, surfing, snorkeling in the pristine and calm waters on the famous Grace Bay Beach. There’s also tennis, a spa and so much more!

Can you tell we are pining to return?

Check out our video to get a feel for the giant rooms offered. Sorry for the night footage, but our unexpected arrival after our cancelled flight meant this was the only time we could film and we figured it was still good to show everyone how spacious the rooms and accommodations are at Seven Stars.

It was night when we arrived after our cancelled plan debacle so my photos are not the best. However, all the rooms are basically suites. So our “room” had both a master bedroom and then a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds for the kids. Brilliant! We also had a galley kitchen and two bathrooms. This would be incredible had we been staying for a week too as it would be a great way to make mini snacks and meals in our room too which would make things a little easier on your wallet for families too!

Seven Stars Resort Turks and Caicos Review

My family loved Seven Stars and we give it Five Stars – or as my son says, 7 stars! The Turks and Caicos islands are incredibly beautiful and with the pristine setting of Grace Bay Beach you can’t go wrong. Many people ask me where to stay on various islands and they are considering all inclusives like Beaches Resorts as compared to a luxury hotel like Seven Stars. Both scenarios provide wonderful family vacations, but I think you need to consider what your looking for when you book.

If you prefer a  taste of Caribbean paradise in a more luxurious and quiet setting as compared to the larger family fun resorts in the Caribbean, then Seven Stars is for you. Yes, you can get all your water activities included — and  in a quieter setting on the beach. Hooray! We found the food to be more fantastic and seriously to die for at Seven Stars, but a place like Beaches will offer more restaurants and all you can eat since that is an all inclusive.  We absolutely LOVED our brief stay at Seven Stars and compare it to a Four Seasons style luxury experience. Impeccable offerings, incredible food, and top notch service everywhere from poolside to restaurants. Seven Stars is definitely Classy Mommy approved!
