Winter Craft Idea: Simple Snowman Bookmarks

Brrrr!!!! It’s cold and snowy here in the Northeast so we’ve been hunkering down making winter crafts when the kids aren’t sledding or building igloos in the backyard. This time of year I keep my craft closet stocked with tons of construction paper and other miscellaneous goodies like clothes pins and popsicle sticks as I find my kids love to transform this kind of stuff into crafts.  Take a peek at our simple snowman bookmarks. Adorable and ultra easy to make in just a few minutes using either popsicle sticks or clothes pins. Check out our instructions and video on How to Make a Snowman Bookmark from Popsicle Sticks or Clothes Pins below. It’s a cinch and your kids will be able to make these in a flash.

What You’ll Need to Make a Snowman Bookmark from Popsicle Sticks or Clothes Pins

This winter craft is SO easy. As you can tell from our video, it’s literally something you can make it in under 5 minutes once you have your basic supplies.  Stop by Walmart to stock up in your craft closet with fun items like bags of clothes pins and bags of popsicle sticks.

  • Black Construction Paper
  • Washi Tape or Mini Duck Tape rolls
  • Glue Stick
  • Buttons
  • Clothes Pins or Popsicle Sticks

Feel free to get creative with whatever is in your craft closet if you don’t have buttons or Washi Tape. You can draw on your buttons with markers and you can also use a ribbon for a scarf!
