Gotta add words to this one again. Otherwise you really might think I actually journeyed to the Jungle! Thanks to my friend Sarah, now also addicted to blogging at These Are Days, for hosting this amazing playgroup, giving me a last minute invite, and letting me use her babysitter to watch Kyle so Kenzie and I could partake in the adventure. Sarah went all out with this playdate – creating a “Jungle Walk” in her woods. We started out the walk by reading a quick story about Dora and Diego getting backpack swiped by Swiper while they were on their way to a playdate with Baby Jaguar….. thus we had to journey into the Jungle to rescue backpack. Along the way we ran into inflatable jungle animals where each child could grab a prize – think Oriental Trading Company – with jungle stickers, tatoos, bubbles, fake bugs, plastic jungle tote bags, and more. And the walk ended with a visit from Dora herself! Over 19 Moms with oodles of kids attended. If I’ve ever met a Momfluential – it is Sarah! Thanks again for this super special day.
