Wummelbox: Subscription Crafts for Kids!

Are your kids crafty? If so, then they will adore Wummelbox. On trend with the subscription based gift kits on the market today, these eco-friendly subscription based craft and activity kits make a thrilling gift for kids. Each box is valued at approximately $35 and arrives once per month full of 3-4 theme based projects for the kids. Even better, after the kids build their craft or activity, it’s generally something they can play with over and over again.  Geared for kids 3-8, I highly recommend Wummelbox and we love that each kit comes complete with EVERYTHING you need to do your project – even scissors, markers, pastel crayons and so on.

Here’s a video of our Wummelbox themed out for Nutrition that we sampled this month. Kenzie was beyond thrilled with all of the projects. She had a total blast completing them and needed very little input or help from Mom so this was a great way to keep her occupied and even more importantly learning and using so many skills – from sewing to reading to writing to getting creative artistically.

We sampled the Nutrition theme which included super fun experiments, activities, and the creation of some very special items that my kids can play with on an ongoing basis.  Kenzie designed an apron she can now wear to cook with, made a cash register built from the actual box the products were shipped in, and hand stitched and stuffed  4  fruits and veggies that are now a part of the kids “grocery” store.

This apron is adorable and can be worn over and over again. A great way to motivate your kids to get cooking!

Here’s a cookbook that was included in our kit. Kenzie got started on writing down some of her favorite recipes! So cute.

Since this was our 1st box, it arrived with scissors since you’ll need scissors for most Wummelbox crafts at some point.

Here’s Kenzie with all her supplies and the kit BEFORE she tackled all the projects, as you can see, everything arrives beautifully wrapped and in a super cute eco-friendly cardboard box that you can either recycle or end up using as it incorporates into an assigned craft activity – in the case of our Nutrition theme, the box becomes the base of the Cash Register.

So what’s it all cost? The value lies in the $19.99 per month subscription for 12 months. But you can also do a 3 month for $24.95 per month – which would be fun for a birthday gift or to keep the kids active over the summer. Likewise, you can sample just 1 month for $34.95 which in itself would be a really cute gift and tons of fun for a child.

Note: Thanks to Wummelbox for providing us 1 free month subscription so we could sample this theme. As always, all thoughts and opinions are our own.
