Hot Toy: Zoomer Interactive Dino

Zoomer the Interactive Dino landed itself a spot on the Top 20 Toys as Chosen by Kids list at Walmart this holiday season. Geared for kids 5+, Zoomer is a toy that the entire family will enjoy engaging with, watching, and controlling. This year’s rendition of a “Zoomer” toy is dino themed as this interactive dino seriously has real dinosaur movements, sounds and incredible dino-sense abilities.

What’s so cool about Zoomer Dino?

Here’s our thoughts after playing with him for a few evenings thanks to the help of Kenzie, age 9,  and Kyle, age 7.

  • Zoomer Dino’s eyes change color to reflect his mood! 
  • You can control him with either a remote or hand gestures. AWESOME! 
  • His tail whips around and yes indeed moves totally DINO-LIKE. 
  • He can indeed reflect some of your attitude – pull his tail if you dare and he might just get a little angry and go all wild on you! 
The price point for this toy is steep at $79.88 but for kids who are really into tech toys and if it is their most wanted item that would be worth it. Kids definitely rave about Zoomer as he is on the  is on the Chosen by Kids Top 20 Toys List featured at Walmart
Personally, my children enjoy games and toys that enable more of their imagination and creative play. So, they thought Zoomer was neat and exciting, but it’s not something they would play with for endless hours like their creative play or active play toys if that makes sense. Think crafts, doll houses, figures, Legos, castles, and so on in our house!
