Yesterday was pretty much a DREAM day.
I was in LA’s “Culver City” to film a video shoot. So much fun!
And with any shoot – comes star treatment in the form of getting your hair and make up done. It felt awesome to have someone trying to make me beautiful. It feels like going to the spa but is even better because you leave looking so fabulous and feeling confident in yourself.
The footage will air at Walmart stores and online for Unilever’s newest hair care product – CLEAR Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy.
Here’s Clark – and yes he was able to work miracles on my hair and makeup in just 1 hour.
He blew dry my already dry hair for a good 20 minutes to give it volume, then he curled it, and then he went to work on making my wrinkles minimize and helping my eyes seriously stand out. He topped off my natural wavy hair look with a nude lipstick that I absolutely LOVED. I never used a nude lipstick before but it really makes your eye pop and the focus go to your hair too. Very cool.
We even had wardrobe options – I was able to wear an amazing blank fancy tank top I fell in love with from Ann Taylor Loft. (And no, sadly you don’t get to keep your wardrobe pieces – so yes I did need to leave it behind!)
After spending 7 days testing out their new Total Care shampoo and conditioner, they interviewed me and 4 of my girlfriends, Caryn, Erika, Amy, and Christine all about our thoughts on the new product.
I’ll be telling your more to come but YES the new shampoo did make my hair feeling seriously healthy and ultra soft.
Doing my coast to coast trip in 30 hours – had me actually in LA for about only 18 hours – but it was so worth it. I left the set to feeling like a star with my gorgeous hair to fly home. What a day!
