We’ve never seen the eebees educational DVD’s but these books really are top notch!Both Kyle and Mackenzie enjoy the eebee’s book series which encourage all kinds of touch and feel exploration. The Poingo story reader is a fantastic option to enable children to read by themselves as the digital pen shaped Poingo brings words and pictures to life. This super tool will help your Pre-K and early readers begin to officially learn to read as well.We tested out the Poingo and were huge fans of it just as we love the Leapfrog Tag reading system. I highly recommend both systems and brands but there are a few key differences worth mentioning. From a value perspective, the Poingu starter kit can not be beat as it comes with 2 very large storybooks (Nemo and Cars)at a price lower than the competitive reading system currently on the market – the Leapfrog Tag reader. As for convenience, the Poingo library is already loaded onto the pen so with a click of the pen your child is ready to read. Kenzie and I are both crazy for the Focus Friends series. We love this book and the "Appreciation Party" which were sent to us to review. In Joy is the Greatest Gift, the main character, Joyann, gives many examples of what brings her joy which will open up wonderful discussions between you and your kiddos about what makes them happy and brings them joy – and even vice versa what types of things cause sad feelings. I think these books are awesome conversation starters and at 3 years old Kenzie is totally into "having conversations" and Kenzie always request upon finishing a story that we "talk about it".
