Chatting with Soleil Moon Frye and Melissa Joan Hart

Interviewing Punky Brewster and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.  Crazy and very cool.  4 years ago when I was leaving Corporate America to be a stay at home Mom, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d maximize “free time” during nap by interviewing Punky Brewster and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Check out the clip below!

The adorable Moms and best friends were warm, outward going, and I truly felt like we chatted on a Mom to Mom basis. I wish I could have done this in person rather than over a video/phone feed as I honestly think these very classy celebrity Moms are 100% down to earth and I could have spent an hour chatting with them. As I’m not the most experienced “celebrity” Mom interviewer on the planet, I asked a few too many open ended questions at the beginning of our conversation and was unable to ask many of my specific questions that came from readers.

10 minutes flew by and before I knew it my time was over.  Lucky me, being these Moms are so classy and cool, Melissa Joan Hart was able to answer a few more fun questions by email.  I heart these Moms forever now!

1. How do your parenting styles differ? Soleil is a bit more of a worrier where I am more of a lazy mom. Ha!
2. You are both so tech savvy. Do you read Mom blogs? Or other Mom Websites? Which blogs or websites do you like to read? I don’t really keep up with any blogs. Even though I have a presence on all this techy stuff, I still have a hard time understanding it. I try to stay away from computers as much as possible. They become a blackhole for me. I sit down to check something out and 3 hours go by.

3. Did either of you ever use cloth diapers? If so which brands did you try or were there any favorite cloth diapers you tried, and might recommend if a Mom is going that route? I used a few different types. I think my favorite was the G diaper. You can flush the inside. Should be available at Whole Foods.

4. Do you shield your children from the Paparazzi or is not something you have to worry about on a regular basis? (ie will you let them have a photo taken?) I don’t mind the pictures being taken as long as it’s not done aggressively. Usually the paps stay back and are fairly understanding to us.
