Dancing Fools

My kids went crazy for the music to be found on our recent Carnival Cruise.

Kyle and Kenzie are cutting a rug at dinner to the sounds of our singing waiters as our meal was coming to a close.  The songs would have been kind of hokey if Mike and I were traveling alone, but the kids found it thrilling and made it super enjoyable for the two of us to see it all through our children’s eyes.

We all fell in love with our Waiter named Luciano who has been working the cruise ships for 14 years. His service was outstanding and he knew to bring the kids food virtually instantly upon our arrival.

A key ingredient to making a night out to dinner with the kids enjoyable. So enjoyable we did it for 7 nights and loved the family time together so much we never considered sending the kids to the Camp Carnival during the dinner hour. We really appreciated the special time together as a family. I highly recommend the “fixed seating” times as you’ll have the same waiter and table every night for the entire week. This made it wonderful for us.

And we all loved the surprises waiting for us in the room after dinner. From surprising desserts to a new towel animal every night!

Disclosure:  Yes, Carnival Cruise Lines did pay for our travel expenses – we are feeling very lucky and appreciative to have been offered this experience. As always, I share the real dish &  all thoughts and opinions are our own.

One of the best parts about cruises is the outstanding service…and I particularly love it when people bend over backwards to make kids smile. :)
