I’m always amazed just how easy it is spruce up my home for a season. Many items I use are “reusable” year over year as I often invest in inexpensive artificial items – like artificial gourds that are brilliantly colored and nicely shaped along with artificial leaves or floral blooms depending on the season.

If you don’t have any autumn materials , here are a few easy ones to stock up on at your local Walmart.

5 easy ways to inspire Fall Decorating

Keep it simple. Go with the basics and then use them in and out of the home to transform your space for the season.

1. Gourds

2. Hay Bales

3. Pumpkins

4. Indian Corn

I bought these $0.97 gourds at Walmart. What a deal!
You can see how I’ve used them through out my home – both indoors and outside.

Fall leaves and indian corn look great too throughout your home. Here is how I’ve added foliage into vases in my home to transform my space for the season.

Walmart also sells gigantic pumpkins for only $3.78 per pumpkin regardless of weight. Awesome! Stocking up on these is a great way to liven up your front walk, driveway, mailbox area or front door.
