Halloween Book: The Switch Witch and the Magic of Switchcraft

If your kids are like mine, they are going to go wild for this magical Switch Witch who apparently has the crafty ability to swap out your child’s Halloween candy for a toy. Check out this new book, The Switch Witch and the Magic of Switchcraft.  The kids better behave in October as the Switch Witches will be watching and if the kids are good, they can write a letter to their switch witch asking her to take some of their unwanted or extra candy and swap it out for a favorite toy.

Dentists will certainly rejoice with this tradition and lets hope it saves lots of cavities and stops kids from overeating too!

Also as a parent with an allergy kid given 6 year old Kyle has celiac disease and can not eat gluten, this also offers a fantastic solution so he won’t feel so left out. Kyle at age 6 is fascinated by this story and the new doll that is now living on our staircase banister watching over everything. He has already written a letter to his witch requesting Pokemon cards but I told him she will be waiting until after Halloween to make any magical deliveries!

Fans of Elf on the Shelf will adore this crafty addition to the Halloween spirit while the haters of the Elf on the Shelf will not be pleased. For a family like mine that keeps the magic alive, and loves the Elf on the Shelf, this is actually a really fabulous and EASY addition to our Halloween routine. Your Switchcrafted witch does not move night to night. She only basically will act on that 1 night when your child turns in all their candy (yes the kids can keep some of it!)

According to this new legend, the Switch Witches need candy to fuel their spells and magic. Sweet!

  1. A fascinating discussion is definitely worth comment. I do
think that you should publish more on this topic, it may not be a taboo
subject but typically folks don’t talk about such subjects.
    To the next! Best wishes!!
