The miracle of built in bookshelves. Truly. Our decision to add these into my home office when I was collaborating and planning with my carpenter is going to make this space. It will add character and functionality – which is especially important in a small area. Construction is full throttle. The kids love our carpenter Ernie and are constantly asking him to play instead of work – but I predict we’ll be finished soon. Ernie is officially now like part of the family after re-building our deck and patio last year. And as you can tell by these shelves, he can work miracles! The kids will be begging for more home renovations when this is complete so Uncle Ernie can come back again.
