Back to School Duck Tape Craft Inspiration: How to Make a Pencil Case with Duck Tape

New Styles Patterns and Colors from DUCK Tape continue to wow my kids and their friends. Me too! From fabric duck tape to all kinds of new colors and patterns –  from Mac & Cheese to Paisley, Puppy Dogs, Camo, Skulls, and sparkling mini sized rolls. With back to school season upon us, the kids were continually inspired to get creative with Duck Tape. 8 year old Kenzie made this awesome pencil case and 6 year old Kyle made his own version of a pencil cup. They turned out super cute!

Check out our photos and videos showcasing the new styles available and you can see instructions and photos on how simple it is to make a Pencil Case too.

I had a chance to meet the brand team from Duck Tape at Walmart headquarters earlier this summer. I was so impressed by all their new styles and innovations and inspired by the cute craft ideas they shared with us. My kids are obsessed with Duck Tape – both the boys and the girls! Pretty much every day this summer, both Kenzie and Kyle were crafting away with Duck Tape.

All these various styles of Duck Tape are available on sale at Walmart.

Ta da! Here’s our finished products. Kenzie made this classy silver pencil case and you can tell that Kyle went to town with his neon green tape to create his very own Pencil Cup for his desk. I can’t even begin how to tell you how to make his creation since he follows no instructions or patterns and literally just tapes away until he builds what he wants!

You can decorate your Duck Tape Pencil case with Duck “washi” tape or other Duck Tape strips in different colors. Writing your name on your Duck Tape Pencil Case with a Sharpie looksfantastic too.
