My Secret Shortcuts for Baking & Serving Halloween Treats

I’m no Martha Stewart when it comes to baking, but I love to entertain and create festive displays for every season.  Serving cupcakes or cookies in a festive setting set the tone of a party and make for instant seasonal decor to transform your space into a seasonal setting.

Take a peek at my Halloween cupcake efforts:

Don’t you love the look of my Halloween Cupcakes? I love to display everything in a festive Halloween setting too – thus the Spooky Tree and pumpkin.

So here’s my secret shortcut to inspired Halloween entertaining – and I confess it does not include me baking!

My 4 year old son still loved helping me set up these treats even though we didn’t bake them ourselves.

What you need to pretend to be a Halloween Baking Domestic Diva:

1. Cupcake Display Stand or Cupcake Toppers

This cupcake stand was $4.97 at Walmart. Cheap and made of cardboard but it looks cute and was easy to put together.

2. Spooky or Autumn Decor to display where you serve your treats.

3. Of course let’s not forget the pre-made bakery items!

These fancy Halloween cupcakes look and taste great. Priced at only $6 for 10 at my local Walmart.

Autumn Leaf cookies from the Bakery at Walmart that are ready made and priced at only $3.99 were these Leaf cookies. Love them!

Other fun ideas for serving up festive cookies or treats. I bought this Fall plate at Walmart for under $3. Isn’t it cute? Makes any food item look great and this classic plate doubles as a serving dish in my house.

Another favorite serving tray I use for Fall is this Maple Leaf dish from Walmart – priced under $10 – great to for cookies and even chips!

Disclosure: Thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
