Photo and Video Highlights from Universal Orlando

We had the BEST time at Universal Orlando last week. It exceeded every expectation. We were so impressed with the vast amount of rides, attractions, and grandeur of it all. Check out our photo and video highlights from Universal Orlando below. The kids loved every second of our trip and so did we. Universal Orlando has so much entertainment to offer families making it a true DESTINATION in itself to visit.

We visited both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure – which includes the famed Wizarding World of Harry Potter as these parks are right next door to each other. The classic family photo – as you can tell we are ready to enroll at Hogwarts! I’ll do a post with just photos from Hogsmeade as there are so many amazing ones that it definitely merits it’s own post!

I booked our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel – a Universal Property, and this meant we could take a quick 5 minute walk to the park. Genius! No transportation involved. We loved the convenience and ease of everything plus the hotel offered a great resort style pool with waterslide for us all to enjoy.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel and saw Blue Man Group the 1st evening we arrived. We loved the show and the kids thought it was AWESOME. Dancing drumming blue men that shoot toilet paper and cereal at the audience is definitely appealing to kids!

After our visit, we loved it so much we plan to book 3 days for a future visit. There is that much to see and do in the parks.

Your family is so darn adorable. And oh, how my youngest would love to hang with the Transformers!

    • ClassyMommy says:

Jessica – Thanks so much! You are too kind! I admit the kids are at that just right age for being cute with characters and believing the magic – but luckily old enough to travel easily with and be able to enjoy the adventure of the rides!

  3. Kelly Moran says:

Looks like your family had an amazing trip!!! Cannot wait to visit Universal with my family – I haven’t been there in at least 10 years. Looking forward to checking out all of these fun rides!!

    • ClassyMommy says:

Kelly – it is truly amazing. Definitely book a package at one of the resort hotels as they are walking distance (short walk!) and include express pass for FREE for everyone in the family. Huge value. Your kids are the perfect age for all these rides and to spend a long weekend there.
