Stokke Xplory Stroller Video Review

I would have LOVED owning the Stokke Xplory stroller when my kids were tots. Stokke makes amazing innovative products for children that have a modern feel and focus on quality design where form meets function. Stokke is a family owned company that hails from Norway and this high end brand is a real favorite of ClassyMommy. We also love their Tripp Trapp High chair and used it for both Kenzie and Kyle when they were little. You can read our Tripp Trapp high chair review here.

It’s genius and especially brilliant because you can switch the seat from forward facing to rear facing so that baby and Mom can face each other. This is wonderful as us Mama’s know that sometimes baby or toddler really really REALLY wants to look at Mom. The seat is beyond easy to switch from front to back too. Literally a 5 second maneuver that you can quickly master.

Take a peek at our video demonstration of the Stokke Xplory stroller and how you can quickly switch the seat from forward to rear facing.

As you can tell, the seat is lightweight for the switch and I especially loved how easy it clicks into place in tandem with the reassurance that the stroller seat is locked into place by the little “green” color appearing after it clicks in.

Other favorite features:

Adjustable Height to the Handlebar. Awesome!

Stroller bag for storage that comes with the Xplory and fits in perfectly onto the storage area.

Stellar sunshade and 3 positions – active, rest, and regular.

You can add on a toddler board. Excellent!

Inside the storage bag, the Stokke Xplory comes with a rain shield and netting. For city moms, it is ideal to always have this with you as who knows when you might get caught in a rainstorm or you might like the extra warm protection to shield your baby from the elements on a cold and very windy day.

Stokke pricing is steep compared to budget brands but you are getting high quality function and design to meet every need you could possibly have with a stroller. The Xplory is priced at $1099 and is available in 7 shades from grey to plum to green with  more colors in between.

Note: Thanks to Stokke for sending us this sample stroller to facilitate our featured review. As always all thoughts and opinions are our own.
