Wee Forest Folk Mouse – the cutest miniature mice ever!

Super realistic, whimsical and totally adorable! Obsessing over the cuteness of these Wee Forest Folk mice. I think I’d like a collection of 100 of them!

Handmade in the USA, Wee Forest Folk Mouse critters start with just a lump of clay. Made by the same family for 40 years. These miniature mouse sculptures are formed and then handcast and of course hand painted. They are simply irresistible and a collector’s dream.

This is a sample we were sent to review. Amazingly realistic and very fragile. Here is the official scoop on our mouse – priced at $88 and titled the Prize Catch – Yay! What a fun day at the fair! This wee mouse holds up her new little goldfish in a bag. She must have won the ring toss! Sculpted by Willy Petersen. 1.25″ x 1.125″

Here’s another angle.

And here is a view of her intricate dress as you can see there are no details missing.

Wee Forest Folk is celebrating their 40th year of crafting, each mouse made by hand and individually named by the Petersen family crafters.  At 90 years old, Annette Petersen started her business nearly 40 years ago by creating Miss Mouse and is still making mice today in Concord, Massachusetts alongside her children.

Wee Forest Folk mice are available in all sorts of adorable situations and to celebrate all kinds of holidays – from Christmas to Birthdays to New Babies and more. Here is a winter themed mouse I adore.  Notice the tails are actually a piece of leather. Truly these mice are so realistic – I’m not sure my photos capture it as much as I’d like!
