Aruba Ritz Carlton Oceanfront Room Tour Video Highlights

It’s time for our Aruba Ritz Carlton Oceanfront Room Tour Video! Are you looking for a Caribbean escape? Here’s the inside scoop including photos and video of our hotel room at the Ritz Carlton in Aruba from our stay in June 2023.

You can view the full details in our our Aruba Ritz Carlton Oceanfront Room Tour Video Highlights which I’ve embedded below. Plus check out some of our photo highlights.

My husband and I took a quick 4 night mini vacation to the Ritz Carlton Aruba when our high school kiddos were both on a school trip to Puerto Rico. Our room at the Ritz Carlton was fabulous with a stunning view of the ocean plus we absolutely LOVED the island. It was our first time to Aruba although we’ve traveled to many Caribbean islands. We definitely plan to return someday!

Why Aruba?

Aruba is a small dry island that is only 19 miles long and 6 miles wide.

We chose Aruba as our destination because we found a direct flight to the island from Philadelphia and we had heard great things about Aruba from those who have visited repeatedly.

We wanted to also visit a brand new destination for us to explore together for the first time so Aruba checked off that box too! We also loved that the island was supposedly out of the “Red Tide” area of the Caribbean and the weather is known to be great since it is a “desert” and dry climate.

Here’s a view of our room at night just after sunset. We LOVED the views from this room. They really were spectacular!

This is what the balcony looks like. It was spacious and we ate breakfast here 3 of our 4 mornings!

The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was enormous and the room even had a sitting area with a couch plus desk area too!

Below we share our video tour of our hotel space at the Ritz Carlton. We stayed in an Oceanfront Room with a King bed on the 3rd floor of the hotel. Enjoy our Aruba Ritz Carlton Oceanfront Room Tour Video Highlights!

The location of our room was on the far outside corner and had a fabulous view of the ocean from our large balcony. We stayed in room 3224.

Downside to our Ritz Carlton Room in Aruba

The downside to our oceanfront room was it honestly took 10 minutes of walking to get to the lobby – there was no direct way down from the side to get to the beach or lobby. We are fine walking lots but for others this could be a real negative.

We found the distance more to be a waste of time and annoying. If you forgot something from your room or needed to go back and forth from beach to room etc. it was frustrating that it was practically a 20 minute ordeal.

Aruba Ritz Carlton Pricing and booking

You can find pricing for the Aruba Ritz Carlton online. You might notice HUGE variations in pricing. All of the rooms are generally some type of oceanview or partial oceanview given the unique setting on the beach so I do think in general this makes things “pricey”.

The Ritz often has deals via the Marriot Bonvoy app that you’ll see where you can buy 4 nights and get the 5th night free too!

We found a deal at Costco for a package and similar pricing via American Express Travel. We ended up booking through American Express Travel since I could use my AmEx points to reduce our overall costs.

Plus, it’s a Ritz – luxury brands likes to charge more! When it comes to luxury hotels, the Four Seasons and the Ritz tend to really be some of the most expensive. I find the Four Seasons to be the most expensive – however, the amenities there are literally worth the extra cost if you have the budget. Other Favorite Spots in Aruba

We rented a car so we could easily explore the island. We loved the freedom and flexibility of having a car as it allowed us to “beach hop” and visit many various spots to snorkel.

We drove to the California Lighthouse up the street from the Ritz, snorkeled at the beaches near there, and then drove to the southern most part of the island to enjoy half a day snorkeling at Baby Beach.

As you can see from the above photo, Baby Beach is spectacular and one of the most scenic beaches you can imagine!
