I’ve arrived! With only about 2 hours of sleep in the last 36 hours, the adrenaline of being in London for Disney’s Rapunzel celebration is keeping me running.
Today I relished the sights – as I saw the grand changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, went for a run in Hyde Park, ran around the grounds of Kensington Palace and saw Big Ben!
I’m trying to soak in all that is London during my 3 day adventure here. It’s a gorgeous city – everything is totally foreign but in a surreal and comfortable way as everything and everyone is incredibly English which makes for an easy adjustment for Americans like me.
Think red telephone booths, double decker buses, black taxi cabs, and of course the need of adapters to charge up any of my tech gear! Even the toilets are different and let’s not forget they drive on the opposite side of the road.
I love it as these minor differences are big reminder that I’m now on the other side of the Atlantic.
Disclosure: Disney paid for my travel expenses so I could attend the Rapunzel Celebration in London to cover this event for the US Media.
Amazing! What beautiful photos….I can’t wait to see all that you experience. We lived in the UK for almost a year and spent a lot of time in London….still feels like we were there yesterday…Hugs to you!
