Sesame Place Halloween Spooktacular

We had a total blast this weekend at the Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place.  Love these photos memories from our day at the Sesame Place Halloween Spooktacular . The park was literally transformed into a world of Halloween fun complete with decorations galore – cobwebs everywhere, pumpkins, corn stalks, and our favorite Sesame Street Characters were styling in costumes too!

Sesame Place Halloween Spooktacular

Kyle at age 4 has NEVER been to Sesame Place. Kenzie went when she was about 18 months old and I was pregnant with Kyle but somehow with all the travels we’ve covered for Classy Mommy around the world, we never made it to this stellar park in our very own backyard. The kids were beyond excited about the experience and we were thrilled we could give them this special experience at Sesame Place -only 45 minutes from our home vs. taking a plane!

Guests are encouraged to dress in costume which my kids loved and even cooler – Sesame Place sets up Trick or Treat stations throughout the park.

Kenzie and Kyle thought this was the COOLEST thing ever and couldn’t get enough of collecting snacks – everything from juice boxes to popcorn to chips.

Meeting characters is always a HUGE highlight. We were invited to a media day Cupcake Party where we were able to hang out with every character. And devour these cookie monster cupcakes. Aren’t they cute?

This was incredible. And if you go to Sesame Place, sign up for one of their Character Meals so you can get time for these photo opps – plus it’s a great chance to sit down and relax!

The kids enjoyed rides as well and were smiling like crazy on the swings and they also loved Ernie’s Bed Bounce and tackling a ropes course with their Dad.

Parades and shows were great too and what kid does NOT love a parade?

The Neighborhood Street Party Halloween Parade is at 4:00 PM and is a must do.

My best tip and recommendation is to carve out time for the shows. Both parents and kids will appreciate the shows at Sesame Place. They are fabulous! And there is no waiting in lines either!

Cute and entertaining singing and dancing from all your Sesame Street friends. And at Halloween time, each show has a special Halloween theme. Elmo singing Thriller rocked for both parents and kids! The shows are several times per day so just check the schedule to see which one you want to attend or see them all if your schedule permits.

Countdown to Halloween Show

My kids adored fooling around in the mazes and popping bubbles at Ernie’s Rubber Ducky Dance party!

Between Saturday, September 29th and Sunday, October 28th Sesame Place is transformed into a not‐too‐spooky Halloween haven
featuring two themed mazes, a Sesame Street character hayride, three Halloween shows and everyone’s favorite Sesame Street friends dressed in their Halloween attire.

Disclosure: We received free admission for our family as part of Sesame Place’s media day. As always, all thoughts and opinions are our own.
