We visited the StarLux Boutique Hotel for a quick family vacation a few weeks ago to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary with the kids! Thanks to Morey’s Piers and the amazing boardwalk with amusements and waterparks, in just a short few days you literally can experience it all from the sun, sand, waves, and all the fun that comes with the boardwalk and Moreys Piers. After our first visit to Wildwood last summer on a press trip, it’s now the weekend destination my kids and us parents pick for our number 1 weekend shore getaway since we can do it ALL in Wildwood. We love the fun & convenience of Morey’s Piers!

Pricing is very affordable and they even offer some suites too – we stayed in a suite with a balcony that overlooked the mini golf course, boardwalk and even had an ocean view!

In the evenings, the mini golf course is popping and they even sell Smore’s Kits to use in their fire pits. So fun!
Photos and Details from our StarLux suite
The suite is awesome for families, complete with fridge, freezer, microwave, dishes, table, chairs and a pull out couch – along with 2 Televisions and 2 double beds in a separate room. Brilliant! My family was wishing we were staying for a full week instead of just 2 nights. The extra space offered in a suite is great when you come back to relax from the beach for lunch to hang out in the A/C for a while too!
As you can see the pool and hot tub are perfect. Complete with retro plastic palm trees! And comfy lounges all around the pool provide a sweet spot to chill and relax if you want some time off the hot sandy beach to chill by the pool.
Random tidbit but worth mentioning: We also really appreciated the quality A/C in this boutique hotel as it was almost 95 with a heat index of like 105 when we were visiting! We’ve found over the years that many budget motels at the Jersey Shore just do NOT have quality air conditioning and everything just stays DAMP and feels mildew-ish. So we give the A/C at the StarLux a rave review and A+!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything at the resort was super clean, modern, and well maintained. And we all loved the oceanfront convenient location literally 1 block to the boardwalk and beach!
